The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 1615 is the union representing approximately 700 Administrative, Instructional, Technical, and Technical Support Staff at Memorial University. This includes the St. John’s, Signal Hill, Grenfell, and Labrador campuses, as well as several satellite locations, including those for Faculty of Medicine’s Distributive Medical Education, the Faculty of Nursing’s Clinical Laboratories as well as the Ocean Sciences Centre (OSC), Botanical Gardens, Bonne Bay Aquarium & Research Station, and the Geo Centre.

We are looking for a member or members to work for us Full-time, for multiple weeks, building solidarity and engaging membership as part of a cost-share campaign with CUPE National. One important goal is to promote ourselves, and the value of our work amongst our members and beyond.

We would do a “book off” for multiple weeks, full time on a contractual basis.

The deadline is Friday July 24, 2026. If there are no successful applicants, applications received after the deadline would be considered.
